Welcome to the Harvest Festival
Saturday October 29th 2022
The purpose of the service day is to bring greater health awareness to families within the city of Syracuse, by providing resources to help with identifying high risk health issues, warning signs and learning about preventative care.
Our goal and purpose is to support and strengthen our community through the promotion of physically and mentally healthy families. We are recruiting local health organizations to assist with providing residents of the Syracuse community with on the spot essential medical services including, flu & COVID shot signup, blood pressure screening, medical testing kits for colon cancer, diabetes screening kits, and informational packets promoting healthy lifestyles.
During the Harvest Festival, we will also celebrate the children and youth by providing a safe location to “trunk-or-treat” and dress for early Halloween activities. Food Trucks, Book giveaways, Entertainment and more...

About Us
The Sims Foundation is partnering with Prince of Peace MBC to present the Harvest Festival, a day of service to the Syracuse community @ Kirk Park from 12 noon to 4:00 pm on October 29, 2022.
Our goal is to dispense valuable health information and services directly to a community that otherwise may not have access. The program will provide preventative services such as stroke risk assessments and screenings on site as well as opportunities for community members to schedule appointments with local health care providers. In addition to the healthcare services offered, there will be family oriented physical fitness activities, education and literacy services, and a trunk or treat for youth.
